New opportunities at Saebren

Hafod Care’s supported housing scheme at Saebren, Treherbert is working in partnership with Motivate, an organisation that finds work placements for adults with learning disabilities to gain work experience and hopefully work towards paid employment.
Saebren will be hosting two placements – one young lady who will be helping at the Thursday coffee morning, and a young man who will be working hard in the gardens. The garden area will be developed into a more user friendly area where the residents can spend some time in the summer and maybe get involved in planting flowers and caring for them themselves.
The volunteer placements will be supported at all times by a Hafod Care support worker.
