Open Day Will Showcase New Care Home
Leading South Wales-based care services provider, Hafod Care Association Ltd, will be holding an open day on Thursday, 17th April, to showcase the facilities at its new Brocastle Manor Care Home, which is due to open in summer 2008 on the outskirts of Bridgend.
The new 78-bed home, which is situated within the grounds of the historic, fourteen acre Brocastle Estate on the A48 just outside Bridgend, will open its doors to the public from 10.00am until 8.00pm. Visitors will be able to have guided tours of the state-of-the-art complex, which will offer luxury accommodation, recreational facilities and a wide range of tailored, 24-hour nursing care and support services for elderly residents and those with other disabilities.
Brocastle Manor Care Home staff and other Hafod Care personnel will also be on hand to discuss the services that will be available to residents. In addition, representatives from local associations, voluntary and statutory bodies and service providers operating within the care sector will offer information and advice on a range of issues affecting older people and those with physical disabilities.
Visitors will also be able to tour the adjacent, exclusive development of luxury apartments and houses, which have been specifically designed for discerning homebuyers aged 55 and over.
