Residents will spend Easter in brand new residential home

The brand new Woodcroft residential home has opened in Trowbridge, Cardiff, with 20 residents moving in ready for Easter.

The newly re-developed home, located on Abergele Road, provides a modern, homely setting for older people who are frail and those who may need dementia care. It will be home to 60 residents when full.

Built to exacting standards, it incorporates the very latest thinking and technologies to support residents to maximise their independence.

Accommodation is arranged in small homely units within the safety and security of a modern structure.  This provides the opportunity for residents to be cared for in a personalised and familiar setting by a dedicated staff team.  All the light airy bedrooms are provided with an en-suite shower room, a sink, toilet and level-access shower.

Woodcroft’s manager, Elaine Mather, said:

“Our new residents have settled in really well, and we are looking forward to welcoming more residents to their new home very soon.”

“There is a lovely environment in the home.  Residents have remarked how light and spacious their new home is, and also how helpful and thoughtful the Hafod Care staff have been.”

There are still vacancies available at this brand new home.  If you would like more information, please contact Elaine Mather (home manager) or Barbara Dunscombe (deputy manager), on (029) 20 774500.
