Coed Cae Street, Grangetown

The project provides accommodation with support for 4 people who have experienced enduring mental ill health.

About the Project

Coedcae Street is situated in the Grangetown area of Cardiff. Grangetown is an established multi-cultural community within walking distance of Cardiff City Centre. There are many amenities near the house. These include, a Post Office, a library, a surgery and a shopping centre.

Tenants at Coedcae Street are encouraged to take a full and active part in the local community. Each tenant will have an individual support plan. This will be negotiated with the support staff. Prospective tenants should be aware that they would be expected to fully participate in the activities agreed in their support plan.

Staff

All of Hafod Care's support staff have received extensive training. The staff team are supervised by a Team Leader who is based locally.

Move On

Coedcae Street is not intended to provide a 'home for life'. There is an expectation that tenants will move on to more independent accommodation when they are able.
