Suffolk Street, Bridgend

The project provides self-contained accommodation with support for 6 people who have experienced mental ill health.

About the Project

Suffolk Street is close to the town centre of Bridgend and close to local amenities. Shops, a Post Office, a library, a surgery, voluntary and statutory drop in centres, a leisure centre and a local college are all nearby.

Tenants at Suffolk Street are encouraged to take a full and active part in the local community. Each tenant will have an individual support plan. This will be negotiated with the support staff. Prospective tenants should be aware that they would be expected to fully participate in the activities agreed in their support plan.

Staff

All of Hafod Care's support staff have received extensive training. The staff team are supervised by a Team Leader who is based locally.

Move On

Suffolk Street is not intended to provide a 'home for life'. There is an expectation that tenants will move on to more independent accommodation when they are able.
