Caring for Older People

The Association currently manages 14 care Homes for older people. Of these care homes 5 are in Cardiff, and 2 in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Hafod Care employ a Registered Manager in each of these care homes who is responsible for the provision of care and all other services.Over the last 2 years the Association has extended it's care home provision. We have acquired a 76 bed Care Home in Porthcawl, previously operating in the private sector and 4 Care Homes in Torfaen following a tender process with Torfaen County Borough Council.

In the last 2 years Hafod Care Association has developed 2 large EMI Residential and Nursing Homes in Bridgend and Caerphilly. Brocastle in Bridgend opened in August 2008, and Ty Penrhos in Caerphilly opened March 2010.
